Currently using Dalmar front and back but find them a little stiff and have rubbed a teeny bit sometimes. I think they offer great protection but maybe need a softer/ more flexible pair as well for schooling. I didn't like PE as found they slipped down.

Wish List:
Excellent protection
Breathable
Comfort/ no rubbing
Doesn't absorb water

I really like my Ecogold boots. They fit well on a wide variety of horses, are currently 7 years old and look good. The protection is good and they don't slip or get heavier. I don't like Dalmar as too stiff. I want flexible on the leg with flexible tendon guards.
I also like my NEW boots and Prolite. Both have done years. I think it depends if they are just for XC/fast work or for longer hacking etc. I don't wear boots for hacking so they only go on for xc and fast work and the horses tendons are iced immediately after so I don't worry about breathability as want protection higher. TBH I don't notice legs being particularly hot after 6-15 minutes of galloping with any of them. I do like the look of the Equilibriums.
