Taking Duke xc schooling for the first time next tuesday, what boots do i use? I have premier equine sport boots and some tendon and fetlock boots. If neither are suitable can you suggest some that dont break the bank and do i need front and hinds?

If u want a quick solution i would get some brushing boots for the hinds and use the tendon boots for the front, although it would be better if they werent open fronted tendon boots. Premier equine have a sale on atm you could see if their eventing boots are in it?!

Just make sure you're booted all round - put your good pair on at the front and maybe buy some woof wear club brushing boots for behind if you want something that won't break the bank...

What sort of heights are you anticipating jumping? If only small (up to 2'6-2'9 ish) then something like WW Club Boots are ideal. Their double and single lock boots would be better if jumping bigger (up to around 3'/3'3), as they are more anatomically designed so will provide a higher degree of protection. If you are looking for actual event boots then their new Event Boots are FAB but just a decent pair of brushing boots should do you fine by the sounds of it. I hunt and do everything day to day wise in my Club Brushing boots. They are well priced too.
