Hi Guys
I am organising our riding club's summer eventing camp at Milton Keynes, and need to organise a 'guest instructor' for the XC sessions on the Sunday morning. I'm not particularly local to the area, so does anyone have any suggestions? Needs to be someone who can ideally teach a mixture of groups but we will probably use our 'resident instructor' for the people doing the smaller stuff, if we can get a 'recognised name' to teach the more advanced groups. Obviously we can't afford anyone astronomically expensive but there is a reasonable budget there.
It is June 17th, for about 4 hours in the morning.

Just as an idea of what we are looking for, we were hoping Joss Gray could do it but unfortunately he is eventing that weekend...

Sorry for being thick, but any more info about him? Like I said, I'm not local to the area and not an eventing person myself....hence I've sorted the SJ and flatwork instructors but a bit stuck on this bit!!
Many thanks for your help

You might struggle to get any eventing peeps because they'll all be competing, but try Nat Dixon. If you have a look on hillhousecrosscountry.com they have a little biog, and I'm sure they'd give you her phone number.

Second (or is it third or forth) Nick Turner. Well known eventer who lives near Biggleswade and teaches at MK a lot.

Have you considered MK's resident XC instructors Jo Burchell and Mary Anne Trevor Roper? See the MKEC website for their details.

Cool, thanks guys. Just emailed Nick Turner so will see if I hear anything, if he can't do it might try resident instructors, hadn't actually thought of that but its a good idea!!!
Thanks!
