now realising that BE season is fast approaching thought i would get my arse in gear and popped of down to SLM for xc schooling. Sunday was beautiful still crisp day, ideal schooling day......
BUT
does anyone else horse act like a compete t*t....... if you string a couple of fences together we go flat out.

... but jump much better and bravier, but do single jumps we have a bloody kangroo!!! and a t*t jumping..........
Then add other folk into mix and his little pea of a brain rattles around so much..... it's horrible to ride... (love him really..)

BUT on positive note we had no bolting in company, just senative controllable cantering in company

It was a beauitful day, new lorry was just so.. lush and horses were so good in lorry compared to trailer......

and course is LUSH, highly recommend, so much to jump and so varied

Yes, my horse was a nightmare xc schooling & if there was more than one horse around it was impossible. He would go very fast and sideways chucking his head around. Funny really because he was brilliant at 1DEs but then again I quite often didn't jump the practice fence, being a wimp an all !

I totally gave up with clinics and used to school once before the season and thats it - he was an experienced horse though.

ooo glad too read this.... if you know what i mean....

for xc-comp i have warm walking round lorry park, then pop into warm up area, jump one and then go straight to start and we fine, first couple of jumps are huge
