it is where claire lewis lives, think its her parents place (she's in her 40's) lots of fences complexes water etc not widely used she was at Badminton last week so has gradually added fences over the years havent been there for a while, sometimes closed as ground can get wet. Should find something to suit you whatever level you are (not all badminton height!) think she teaches the pony club there too, definately some little fences. Good solid fences well built enjoy!
I know Highfields too home of Eridge PC DC! Mostly quite small but good. Have PC hunter trials in September. Think you must be in my area so can probably give you the low down on XC courses round here. Have had BE Nov eventer and PC daughter between them they have covered most of this area over the years!
Thank you so much for the help!! They both sound really nice and I'm sure I will be checking them both out in the next couple of weeks!!
I love xc schooling, much prefer it to competing strange as that sounds!! I think its because you get to jump everything you want, but in your own time etc.
It's always a struggle to find anywhere with big enough fences to really challenge my little mare (apart from tweseldown and brightling) as she tends to quite happily pop most open hunter trial courses - so I'm always on the look out for anything 3'3"/3'6" + if you can think of anywhere!!
