We had a blast! In prep for my first HT on Sunday we went to the local chasers course with my instructor and friend, at first I was very scared and wobbly and a bit worried about George running off - as if! But then I got braver and jumped loads of jumps, logs, tyres, funny water bottle jump, steps up, steps down, a ditch and a bank

I even managed to have some long canters, and believe you me cantering in a big open space is quite an achievement for me

George was a saint, he jumped everything and never once felt like he would stop, and I thought his ears might fall off they were so pricked

Sorry very self indulgent, but I'm really buzzing

I always think XC schooling sounds fun! We have just a small temporary XC at our yard but I really loved it when I went round it...am really wanting to try a proper XC schooling session though at somewhere bigger.
Good luck for your HT and look forward to your report (and hopefully pics)
