How much XC schooling is too much schooling?!

I have a 5 yr old KWPN horse that i would like to start at Tweseldown unaff Intro and then Broadway BE Intro. He schooled about 3 times end of last yr, was good boy, no real issues etc.

I have booked XC schooling sessions 3 times in March along with a sml hunter trial at MK on 21st, and then 1 in April before the event....

...too much?

If you haven't got any real issues with XC then probably too much in one month.
Will look out for you at the HT on the 21st. I will be doing it aswell prior to running Intro at MK1

Cool! Are you doing the 2'9 or 3'3? I have a bright turquoise leyland daf lorry, so come and say hello if you see it!

Is that on the Nick Turner XC clinic? I am provisionally booked on the NT clinic there on 8th March.

I personally wouldnt do so much in one month especially when they are young as I find doing too much of something makes them a bit stale at it when the aim is always to keep them enjoying it!

One of my horses was taken XC schooling only twice before his first XC (an RC ODE). He did about 4/5 RC level ones before doing his first Intro last year.
