xc schooling

It's also handy to have an instructor/helper on the ground to shout instructions at you- often when I go I thin I'm doing something I should be when I'm not, and without reminders I probably would've had an incident, lol!

ill be going on my own with mum
shell yell at me

is it best to go round like its a comp, and then if we have a problem stop and sort it out
or jump each one individually

Depends how much XC she's done, and how much you've done. And where you're going. If you know the venue then go round like it's a comp, but otherwise do each fence individually then string a few together at a time.

shes done loads; will probs be a pro

I did a post on this a few days ago and got loads of helpful suggestions. The general consensus was make sure you have a neck strap and remember to kick, both of which I would definitely agree with.
