BE stopwatches are synchronised to read the same event time, and every time you press the button on the front, it freezes a time value. You just record the start times, the finish times, then get Excel to do the mystical calculation called subtraction.

Or if you haven't progressed to laptops you use your brain and a crib sheet to work out the penalties!
