Evening...

Does anyone have a recommendation for a lambskin/sheepskin half lined numnah that would be able to accommodate a 17.5 saddle with a prolite...

A Le Mieux will fit the saddle but with the prolite the back of the saddle ends up on the binding.

Any suggestions?

You can get a wool backed numnah from Nuumed with integrated Prolite. It's got the wool against the horse's skin , then memory foam and then the pockets fot Prolite.
I live mine.

A Nuumed XL-sized GP numnah is big enough for a Wide Prolite to sit inside the binding, (the saddle-shaped one) They are available with wool or just cotton.

If nuumed don't work try the christ lamfelle or edix ones. If you want huge you can get the numnah intended for under a treeless saddle instead.

Not sure the CL have prolite but they're shimmable so you could cut your own.

I've got a Christ/horse dreams half lined saddlecloth which is ok with a prolite and 18" saddle. It's doesn't have the edging round the back which helps.

Otherwise I think mattes XL would be ok as their non sheepskin ones are very generous.

I'm struggling because it's the thin one so maybe because it's wider but it's just not quite right...

Bigger numnah would be better as with the pad it puts the back of my saddle on the fur trim rather than the fur trim being behind my saddle...hope that makes sense

Bigger but also that's why I prefer without the fur trim. I had issues with some pads before the prolite because of the trim.

Seem to have some at half price with measurements

I don't have fur trim on my numnahs as it does make the useable area smaller.

I think I have the same, in GP cut. This is what I'd recommend, too!
