What treats do you get your cushings ponies? Since shes probably not allowed lickets anymore due to sugar amount.
Even if I have to bake something for her I would...
Diabetic cake anyone ? :D

Ours aren't cushings, but we are victorian parents and don't feed them suggary treats!

Tbh with both of them a good itchy scratch of the hard to reach bits goes down an absolute treat! Food wise, they actually really love grass nuts. Not fancy or anything, but a couple fed as a treat really goes down well! If you would like her to have a lick, then get one of the red rockies (like a house brick!) ones, useful for salts, and no sugary crap like lickets/horselicks and the like! Other ideas would be adding herbs to her feed - dried mint is a big hit with ours, fenugreek seeds are good too! (cotwold herbs do massive bags very cheap).

Leadropes??
Headcollars??
Boots?? Oops, they're not very exciting for the horse are they? :p
I usually treat her to half an apple, and buy her some new brushes or a toy or something like a ball :)

Erm, is it only me who doesn't buy horses, dogs, cats or hens anything for Christmas? It would never enter my head to buy them anything at all..........

Actually, OH is lucky if he gets owt too, so perhaps it really is just me being a Scrooge!

Bah humbug!

We've always got them all something. Usually just treats/licket.
But Cushy pony can't now, so....like Kellysheroes pointed out, it seems like a very boring Xmas for Cushy pony(she's scared of toys)
