xrays and imprint shoes? (laminitis)

Because I'm not very bright, please can someone advise me as to whether xrays can be conducted with the horse wearing imprint shoes? Farrier asked for horse to be xrayed before next trim and removal (possible replacement) of imprints - so have booked it, but then thought (does sometimes happen

) that shoes may cause problems with visibility of internal structures. Would call vets but they're sick of me. Thanks
