Has anybody used this stuff? It comes in a little brown jar and kind of smells like Kaluha.... (the alcoholic beverage!)

I have just taken charge of a four year old warmblood and he is COVERED in sarcoids. (The Boss got him cheap, understandably....)

Vet has been and taken photos of sarcoids for the 'Liverpool Man' to look at, in the meantime I have been given a pot of this Xterra cream by another vet friend of The Boss's to plop on a few of the smaller ones. Anyone have anything to say about it? I have never heard of it before....

Not heard of Xterra cream but try Calendula made by Nelsons. Available at most health shops / Holland and Barratt etc... my friend swears by it. Used on her TB who had a very nasty sarcoid high up on the inside of his hindleg. Completely disappeared.

Xterra is Blood Root - be careful, ic can help with sarcoids but it can make the horse very sore so if you are trying it, I'd just do one at a time. Liverpool Cream is probably a better way to go.

It doesn't seem to be doing much of anything, let alone making him sore. Does it work in the same way as Liverpool Cream? i.e, in a caustic way?
