xxtera cream on sarcoids

So the young brat has sarcoids and the vet has given us the above cream....and i am less than impressed! It appears to have removed the small sarcoid but has taken the grey layer off the big one and left a red oozing lump which doesnt appear to be hurting him. vets back out next week but has anyone used this stuff with any success??

It removes the sarcoidosis one layer at a time do for larger sarcoids will take quite a few rounds of treating one week on one week off before it all sheds. What did you expect from the cream?

The vet said it would form a crust and remove it....didnt realise it would need a few goes it looks worse now than before. started to think i had wasted £150! Thanks feel better now and glad i know not to moan at the vet!!

what application procedure did the vet advise you follow?

it does need several applications over several months - mind advised 6 days of applying it then 6 days not

it worked on the smaller ones but the larger ones it didn't - perhaps ask vet to inject it into the sarcoid itself so works more effectively. larger sarcoids are more difficult to treat topically with cream
