I'm sorry, this reply is not going to be popular.

Is your ad written the same way as your OP? If so that will be putting a number of people off.

If you post the text of your ad on here I'm sure there are any number of people who will help you fine tune it so that it attracts as many prospective purchasers as possible.

What she said ^^^^

I don't think you are asking too much, but it is a hard time of year to sell & you need to be attracting the right people. Where have you advertised her?

No she is not papered as we bought her mum not knowing she was in foal, she is advertised in friday ads south east, preloved and horse hunter. I will put pics on for you all to see. Thanks for your oppinions x

to put it bluntly, its because people are SKINT!

We are in a severe recession, its January and people don't really buy until the weather bucks up. People are also getting short on grazing and will only buy if a total bargain or giveaway price, yours isn't.

Sorry to be blunt!

I was going to say this. If I saw an advert written in "text speak", I would jump on to the next 1 as it makes my teeth grate, even if the advert was "Moorlands Tortilas - £50 ONO"!

As a general point, unless you want to work in the fast food industry for your whole adult life, I suggest you learn to write in proper English. Not being nasty, just well-intentioned advice...

well havent seen the ad, but its january, tax bills due next week, ground is crap, economy is crap, and it would be another 3.5 years before said filly was useful! and it will cost 3 grand to get her there barring no accidents/vets bills!

Beautiful big black warmblood filly born 10th May 09 to make 16.2hh. She has plenty of bone, and stands at 14hh at just 8 months. Her beautiful movement will make her a wonderful dressage prospect or a superb allrounder. She is well handled, very sweet natured and loves a fuss and cuddles.

For sale as moving abroad. She is a good quality filly well worth coming to see, her dam can also be seen.

£*insert correct price here* ono

Now, if you have any information about her breeding then that could go in as well, also if either of her parents has been out and done anything - won anything or competed successfully then that could go in as well something like "Dam has completed SJ and XC with local success" or "Sire won 42 races" but only put it in if you can back it up!

Best of luck - I'm sure others can come up with better ads than mine

I cant find the ad on preloved either and I think you get better enquiries ifyou advertise on a paid website like horsemart as its more well known.
I think the price is too high for the current climate especially as not papered/breeding unknown. Also agree that a few good pictures really help to sell :-)
