I am looking for a new yard as my YO has decided she will no longer provide water for our horses. I live very near the m1, does anyone know of decent yards in j26/27 area? I am happy to travel a little distance for a nice yard but I can't afford a really expensive yard. At the moment i end up paying just under 400 a month (DIY) for two horses including haylage and shavings but service is nonexistent... It's meant to be available but YO apparently hasn't got time anymore, prefers to stay in bed until midday and then go out to pub early. I am so upset about this, poor horses are suffering as she also has full livery customers..
I need year round turn out as i have a four year old (very sweet) and my pony goes out with him normally. They're both good with other horses, although a little playful at times, and are out with others, in the daytime, at the moment.
I would like decent hacking, a menage (indoor if poss), assisted DIY as I'm away working occasionally, would love it if my two very well behaved dogs can come up with me (even if on the lead), good hay/haylage... not asking for too much am I? Could add more...
But at the moment I will settle for good hay or possibility to bring my own, turn out and a YO that doesn't shout at mothers in front of little children (I have no children, but that made me cross).
Please please does anyone know of anywhere good?
Thank you..
