I want to get some yard boots for the summer because my legs overheat in my boots and chaps

Have looks on the internet, but most of them seem to be fur lined..

Can anybody reccomend me some that are waterproof, can be ridden in, aren't too expensive and are durable??

Many thanks

I have a pair of steel toecap pull on leather ones. £8 from a market somewhere and have done 3 years so far.

I have Hoggs (of Fife) Boots. Comfortable to work and ride in, not expensive and waterproof (unless like me you have a habit of tipping buckets of water down your leg!)

i just bought some mountain horse ones, (cant remember wat they r called tho =S) they look like jodphur boots with the elastic sides on the ankle etc...but are more chunky and have a steel toe and are quite sturdy and durable (so good for the yard) waterproof and can be ridden in...mine were £60 approx. hope this helped

Woof wear are really good, they are fur lined but honestly they arent hot atall i wear them all the time, you can ride in the long ones and i would of thought the short ones, the long ones have a chap looking bit on!
