Ok, its coming up to that time 'Winter' again, the time when we all end up trudging through the mud and the rain hoping that our feet dont get soaked in the process lol.

In you experiences, what are the best yard boots, boots that preferably can be ridden in, will not spurt a hole after a week of having them and that are warm? :P
 
i love my mountain horse rimfrost riders. I wore them all winter last year without a problem - rode in them as well!
 
I have muck boots and i love them, my feet are never cold and i suffer with chilblains (sp) and with these boots i hardly get them at all, although when i rode in the last year they did fetch the hair off the side of mil, but they do riding ones i think, which shouldnt do the hair rubbing

I had a pair of moutain horse boots and believe it or not but the strong material on the foot area had 3 holes after only a week of having them lol, and they wernt cheap

I could not live without my Dubarry's now - I do everything in them, from going to the pub/posh restaurants to riding and mucking out. They really are worth the money.

I'd personally never touch muckboots again as every pair I have had, th neoprene lining has worn through at the heel, exposing the plasticky bit and rubbing blisters/sores and generally being uncomfortable. This normally happens within a couple of months of getting them. Its a shame as they are a really warm and comfy boot otherwise, just no life in them at all.

I also have a pair of mountain horse rimfrost, but am unimpressed as only wore them about five times before the water started coming in.
 
I have muckboots. Mine have been fantastic. I use them for mucking out and general running about the yard and no problems at all. Cant ride in them though as they are to chunky.

I also have Toggi calgarys, although I havnt ridden in them yet so fingers crossed.
