yard break in halstead, kent last night

anyone near halstead kent be aware.
our yard was broken into last night.took 3 saddles and lots of green elec fence posts, a nag rag navy 5'9 sweat rug and two navy show riding hats.
the saddles were a black suade fitform treeless complete with girth and stirrups...a 17'' wide old brown leather show cut saddle with girth and stirrups and my friends hi lite 17'' med/wide black synthetic saddle.
police informed and came out to take prints.

Be aware that in some cases the thieves return a few months later as they know that the items will be replaced with new ones.
Please ensure that when you replace the stolen items that you have the tack marked with your postcode so that if stolen again they can be identified.
When stolen tack is recovered it is impossible to identify the owner unless it is marked.

being stupid here but how to do mark a treeless saddle?
we don't ever leave tack down there and only did this one night we got broken in to so they must have been watching the yard or just got lucky.
