There were two break-ins' at livery yards on the weekend. On our yard the thieves were extremely organised / prepared and took an angle grinder tool to 2 x padlocked iron bar gates ( taking them both off at the hinges) and a shipping container, which had most of the yards saddles /tack in it, so 90% of the clients have no tack to ride their horses. The thieves then helped themselves to a Ifor Williams 505 trailer to make off with everything. B***ards !!

In the other theft, not satisfied with taking tack, the thieves went into the stables and took the rugs of the horses as well !!
South Wales police are aware of this so if large quanties of tack / rugs at knockdown prices come onto the market, please report any suspicions to them.

It wasn't a blue Ifor was it? One appeared at a private yard just down from us last week which I thought was odd (and we believe these people to have been involved in the theft of our stuff at the beginning of December but we have no proof).
