Our yard owner organised a fun show, mostly to help the younger ones practise plaiting up and riding in shows etc! Wasn't supposed to be doing as I originally had work, until my boss rang me that morning and told me to have the day off so I rushed to get to the yard in time, hence why his plaits are on the wrong side, I had no time to try and get his mane over!
It was very low key, just a chance for us to dress up smart so please no CC on anyone.

Got a once in a yard life time photo of pretty much every horse on the yard all plaited up! Our amazing yard owner is in the middle and I'm the one to the right as you look at it

And finally the chase me charly. Rodney unfortunately clipped a pole in this due to his gangly legs not being picked up quick enough

Then he was pooped out in the field for the rest of the day!

It was a brilliant day, we all had a great laugh, the little ones learnt a lot and us oldies probably learnt a few things too! I'm so lucky to have such a wonderfully happy yard which makes having horses that much better :D:D

I can't see your photos but glad you had a great day.

I used to organise Funday Sundays once a month for our yard, basic stuff like equitation, best turned out, pony games and clear rounds, mainly for the kids and the adults helped out. It's nice just to get the yard together and it's a big deal for the kids that don't get out to compete.

They weren't fancy but the kids were so happy to get a rosette and a sweetie...they'd be talking about it for days after!

I miss doing them but I think that's because I miss the organising as I'm a bit of a closet list maker!!!

Can't see the pics either :(

But glad you had such a great day!

And yard fun shows shouldn't be all about the kids, I'm 36 and don't have transport (if I did I'd prob be too scared anyway :p) so our fun shows give me a chance to get dressed up and plait up :D
