Used to stable at a yard in Mount Pleasant, basic facilities but good indoor stables, adequate grazing (all year round)
and fairly decent hacking. Might have been called Park Farm, the owners were really nice. Might be still open..

I used to keep my horse at Littlebourne, its quite expensive (£45 for DIY with bedding & haylage!) but they have really good facilities and lots of shows on site. Having said that the grazings not that good in winter. I suppose it depends on what sort of yard you're looking for!!

Yes i moved my mare from Mount Pleasant to Littlebourne - I hated it there and the farrier who shod my horse while I was at work must have done something horrendous to make her change from an excellent horse to be shod, to one who needed IV sedation the next time.........the moral of the story? ALWAYS be there when horsey is having new shoes!!

I would steer well clear of Littlebourne - perhaps use their school though every now and then.
