Just things like, Fill your haynets as your buckets are filling. Never walk anywhere without something in your hand (You'll be amazed what a difference that makes!) Deep litter through the week and dig at weekends In the winter maybe use turnout rugs as stable rugs too (Although I prefer to adjust rugs each time anyway,, but some people don't) Make up breakfasts the night before You will soon be in a routine. I used to do 3 horses in an hour before work and they never went uncared for. Good luck, You'll enjoy it! Jo x

I don't use haynets so I don't waste time filling them. I spray legs (only legs!!) with coat shine in winter to help stop the mud sticking. Keep things to hand, my everyday dandy brush lives on a shelf inside my stable. Headcollars on hooks outside doors.

Choose bedding carefully as having the right one can mean it's loads quicker, deep litter helps too. I do as much in the evening as I generally have more time, leaving fewer things to make me late in the morning.
