I have decided, after discussions with the YO, to resurrect our yards newsletter. One of the other liveries did it for a while but stopped about 8 months or so ago. What type of stuff would you want to see in there? The yard is a livery, riding school and the YO has some top flight showjumpers as well so was going to include news from each aspect. Does anyone else have this type of thing and if so what's in it?

details of attending professionals, vets/dentists/chiro/etc

Remiders of rules general info, up coming events, lil quiz's, problem/tips page all go into ours...

I agree with all these things, but it might also be nice to include some non horsey things too, like people's birthdays (excluding their age as some people can be sensitive), any marriages, births etc?

ours is generally along the lines of reminding us what to do for each season ie. for autumn it was make sure our horses rugs have been cleaned and reproofed, for spring it would be keep your eye on your horses weight. New facilities being built (indoor school update for us) and any upcoming shows, and then going over the general rules such as remember to rake lunge pen, and then news about livery ie. ponies will now be fed at 7 instead of 8 etc.
