That's just the latest in a string of them round here in the last fortnight. They've also hit Easingwold, and one yard in Earswick twice, I believe. Must be half a dozen trailers gone now. The little yard I'm on has an electrician coming in this morning to quote for a new alarm system. In the meantime, we've all taken our tack home.
I have friends on the Claxton yard and they've lost literally everything except the rugs off the horses' backs. It's awful.
They're clearly a professional group which makes it more frightening, really. It also makes me angry that they're repeatedly hitting such a small area, without getting caught.
