What do diyers do for yard security?? There was a previous dispute on my new yard and for several months old tenants are coming back and lifting everything that is theirs - getting fed up and have my tack room padlocked although door is thin so would be easily burst. I'm always worried about horses getting lifted but don't fancy locking them in their stables!! Advice please as yard is fab but no real management in it. I have spoken to yard man and he is just really angry with the tit for tat going on

No security needed, livery on a farm with a giant of a farmer, 3 or 4 working dogs and anyone would be foolish to just walk onto his property... In your case, I would take my tack home with me!!!

CCTV in tack room and stable recording onto SD Memory card if any movement happens, download and check it every weekend or if we suspect something.
Cheap as chips from all good leccy stores and work with batteries if you have no power supply available.

I don't leave anything of value there, basically I have the minimum in the tackroom in regards to kit, and my car resembles a walking tack room. What I do leave there is a calculated risk as to what I can afford to loose.
