For a variety of reasons, I am looking for a new yard and I'd rather move him sooner than later. I've been to see a few but nothing has really grabbed me . . . most were too small (Kal does much better in larger herds) . . . this afternoon I'm going to view a place that has a space (I think). Outdoor school, gallop track, cross country jumps (not that I leave the ground these days), direct access to hacking in Forestry Commission woodland (no roadwork - that's a good thing for Kal) and the best part is that a friend of mine is already there with her horse - who Kali knows and likes.

Unless I find out something truly horrific, I really, really want this space - so please keep your fingers crossed for me. Kal and I really need this new start.

I had to do the same thing just over a year ago, and have never looked back. Horse loves his new home, we are both having lots of fun.
 
Well your good luck vibes must have worked . . . loved the yard, loved the owner and it turns out we know a bunch of people there. Going back tomorrow to sign the contract and give YO the deposit. Then I just need to figure out when we can move him.
