Please help I live in the Chichester area I do drive so willing to travel for the right place! I've tried a few yards (I moved down from Surrey a few years ago) but can't find anything that quite fits! I've had a really bad experience at this yard and can't wait to leave! Basically I want something with year round turnout, my mare prefers indoor barn stables but this isn't a huge problem if not, I do need a sandschool, and Id like to not have people interfering! If anyone has any suggestions please let me know I need to get out asap, I will be able to afford part livery as one horse is going! Plz pm me ones to avoid! Also I don't want loads of children running amock or thieving etc! Thanks
 
Hiya I'm in the same area as you and also looking for a new yard! How big is your horse? My friend has a space at her lovely yard with great facilities but the box is quite small so can't be a horse-mine is too big! Would you PM me the name of the yard you're on now? So I can avoid it! Have you tried Ounces Barn at Halnaker? I went to look there it was nice but not quite right for my 2-indoor stables, good turnout all year and nice school, I have their number if you want it?

I need as many options as possible it's got to the point where I am dreading going to the yard tomoz morning as I usually manage to avoid the people I need to but with one thing and another I won't be able to tomoz! They actually screamed and swore at another livery as I had asked her to give mine hay in the morning as the lady that normally does it couldn't on that particular day so she got it in the neck she has also refused to go in the field that was offered to me so she got shouted and sworn at for that as well! I'm at breaking point I shouldnt be made to feel this way!

Was about to post asking about yards near Chichester myself as I am moving down from Surrey this summer and need to find my boy a nice new home too.

Came across this thread and thought I would ask for some PMs myself on which ones to avoid or any recommendations?! Can anybody let me know?! sam72431 Hope you have found somewhere!
