Hi everyone, hope you've all been enjoying the lovely weather! ;) Just wondering if anyone knows of any nice yards around this area. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just decent turnout and a surface, preferable with lights but not essential. I'd be looking for DIY really, but part livery would be considered if it was at a reasonable price. not in a major rush for anywhere, just having a little look around. Thanks for any replies, feel free to PM :)

Hi

Home Farm in Great Brickhill is supposed to be good for diy and decent hacking think their number is 01525 261231

Also there used to be a place in Stockgrove Park and think the hacking is amazing around there, so may be worth you trying to track that down.

:)

Thanks everyone! I did have a little look on google but would prefer a recommendation :) That one in Lidlington looks lovely, but a little bit far in the wrong direction. Does anyone happen to know what that place is you can see from the train line as you leave Leighton station going towards London? There's a nice post and rail field with mares and foals in it.

Hi, I think you refering to southcott stud, which i think you can see as you're leaving the train staion. As far as I'm aware they don't do livery.
I keep my horses in soulbury/great brickhill on a yard I share with a friend, but have experience (some good, some bad!) of livery yards in the area and have lots of friends who livery around here.
I've heard good things about ridge dean livery in soulbury and Rammamere farm near stockgrove (fab hacking!). I've hear mostly good things about Burcott hall farm in burcott near wing. Mixed things about bury farm in slapton and there are places I wouldn't touch with a bargepole (I'll pm you those if you want!).
happy yard hunting!
xx
