Thought I'd call upon the font of knowledge here to see if anyone knew of any good yards, or places to rent for £25 per week per horse.

All I'm after is somewhere safe and fun to keep my horses with some decent grazing and hopefully a school to ride in.

Anyone got any bright ideas?
 
Hargate equestrian, Hilton big on facilities, help and lots of people to socialise! I used to keep my horse there when I lived there, only down side is turnout as it's a big centre there are more horses per acre than ideal so turnout would be limited but regular shows held at the centre so no travelling required and helpful staff and lessons available.

My friend also has a small yard on the same side of Derby as hargate, I'm not sure if she's taking anymore liveries, she only has a couple long standing people, I believe she had a school built after I left the area, few people about so possibly a little lonely although the yard owner is usually around and is very sociable!! Grazing certainly not a problem, probably the opposite to hargate and there's too much grass!! PM me if you want her details and I'll find out if she's taking anymore liveries on.
 
Spondon side or as close to as poss! I'm really not a nutter, just want somewhere I can enjoy my boys and where they will be safe (My horse just got a nasty injury on the yard we recently moved to so I'm paranoid)
 
Unfortunately we're not that close to Spondon, wouldn't be practical for you to come to our yard twice a day.

Good luck in your search, know how important a good yard is.

John Salts is on Hagg Lane (off Dale rd) i think there is space there, Little hay grange is at the top of Far Lane i know a few people there and one is ringing me tomo so i will as if they have any spaces and let you know.
