i am currently at a yard in bexley and love the area and hacking...but i feel the yard is getting to big with to many horses and as i have a 3 year old this is not practical! does any one no of any good yards in and around bexley MUST be DIY! and secure! if you have any ideas please let me know!!!!!

Not Mount Mascals imho, erm...there is Taylors? Do you have to have stables? There are a lot around if you just drive around - I know that there is one on the road from Bexley to Ruxley corner on the left hand side which may do DIY.....

Difficult one in Bexley as it is quite over horsed and if you are looking for a suitable yard, you would need to move out towards Wrotham where there are loads of yards that could cater for youngsters, I think that you will find the same situation in other yards at Bexley.

I moved from Taylors when the yard changed hands and that is a large yard that has limited turn out now, it was fantastic in the 80/90's when I was there and we had loads of youngsters. Unfortunately all good things come to and end, happy hunting

I haven't been in Bexley for about 3 years now and the yards have all changed sooooooo much. If you are in a possition to drive about an extra 10 minutes you can look around the Speedgate area where there are lots of yards hidden away. Its amazing just by driving those extra few minutes the hacking and grazzing that you can get. I would never go back to the Bexley area now. I was at a few yards in Bexley the last was Park House farm which was one of the best for the facilities and grazing but I think that has changed a lot to and not for the best from what I heard.

Apalacia I think you might be on about Honeydale farm??

DBBX - I am at a place called Ruxley Fields - I do believe that it is VERY close to Honeydale...possibly next door. its just that - some fields behind some houses, but no one knows about it, and we can come and go as we please. Sadly for the OP, there is no school, and no stables at the moment, its a bit wild and rugged!!

Come and move to Speedgate lol!!!

There are lots of fields hiding around there you dont realise do you. I know Honeydale don't have a school and use somewhere near by. I have only been there once and had a bit of a nose while picking up a friend but the lady that manages it is lovely!

There is Hogspringville to which isnt too far from there but not sure what livery packages they offer, but only heard good thing about them!
