yards in Hitchen area?

the price of fuel at the minute is making my 26 mile eachway trip blummin pricey at the moment so im looking for somewhere more local.

I live in luton but put hitchen as im 5 mins away from the 505.

but any ideas near me would be good!!

i could - i was gonna ring bibbs and see if they still had the yard round the back as i have 5 now!
 
Kings walden is just the other side of hitchin, coming back this way i know they have space and its a good yard
 
if not at the holt there is one just outside of whitwell towards lilley - lodges farm, but not sure how they would charge you for 5, is that any good?not that great on my locations yet!
 
FIVE horses?! That's a tough one, and one huuge bill. What sort of yard are you looking for re facilities. Would you not be better off looking for land to buy? Easier said than done of course...or a private yard to rent. Presume a manage is a must.

I can think of a few yards but all quite expensive, and doubt they would have room for five at once. How do you cope with your work? I have 8 but all at home and most are ponios, although just got schoolmaster horse for teenage daughter. I know mutual friend with spare grazing if that's any use...
 
i would love to find a private yard but they are like gold dust.....

we are moving sometime this year - but havnt put the houses on the market yet - waiting for the credit crunch to level out.

once they are sold we can buy our own place!!
til then livery it is......

and i juggle work and horses by just not sleeping or eating!
