It depends on what type of livery you need. DIY is virtually impossible locally, but there are a few full livery yards around who may also do part.

I don't have anything constructive to say except that I'm very jealous of you moving to tetbury it's such a lovely place. I keep my horses on DIY livery in coates for a very reasonable price but it would be too far away for you.

Good luck with your move

Theres a DIY in Minchinhampton (Burnt Ash Farm) about 6 miles away. It is mainly private eventing, dressage and hunting yards round here. I am lucky enough to keep my horses at a friends. Coates is only 6 or 7 miles away and the hacking round there must be fab.
I can recommend a couple of good part/full livery yards locally, but I don't think they are cheap!!

there are loads!! look it up in yellow pages or on a website, i live near tetbury and it would take to long to write down all the livery yards around here!!

How close do you want the yard to tetbury? if you say, i can name a few.

If you look in yellow pages under livery stables/stables/riding schools there is one with a Tetbury number (a riding school in Crudwell). The nearest being a Stroud number. As I said there are a few who do part and full lvery who may do a DIY if asked but the DIY yards are a few miles away. Having lived in Tetbury neartly 30 years, it has never been easy to find anywhere local. (Better if you don't mind travelling)

dont mind traveling takes half an hour as it is at the mo to get to my current yard. was thinking may be 10 - 15min journey would be nice, i've only actually been to tetbury once to look at the flat with OH so any info is most gratefully recieved!

I used to live round there and learnt to ride at "barton end". Im pretty sure they do livery but not sure would be worth giving them a ring because it used to be a really nice friendly place.

If you are willing to travel 15 -20 mins then you will be fine. Robin Hoods yard in Coates would be good as you can get int Cirencester Park from there.
The best place to look for yards is Stroud Farm Services in Chalford, they seem to have a few DIY ads on their board.

ta very much, googled burnt ash farm and it looks really nice, couldnt find the other one you mentioned on google tho, but i'll deffo trundle along to the farm services that you mentioned.
