I'm moving to Loughton in the new year and OH has agreed I can have a horse woooo :D

I had a look at Woodredon Equestrian Centre and it seemed lovely, but a bit pricey compared to livery yards where I currently live, Chelmsford/Wickford area.

Does anyone know of any other yards near Loughton, High Beech, Epping area. Also how much you would pay a month for DIY livery.

Many thanks

Emily

Hi, I'm local and was stabled at Southend Farm, which is near Woodredon. PM me if you want any details. DIY is £33/week, or between £39 & £42 for assisted DIY. Woodredon is ok, but I wouldn't go there personally. I pay £110/month at my new yard for DIY.

Years ago I used to be based in that area. Quite a few yards on Lippits Hill, back then it was The Stables, Pine lodge and two others I can't remember.

PM TheresaW as she's around that area.

Woodredon is a riding school isn't it? I think the hacking's good.

Thanks, will do.

Its a riding school and livery yard with really good facilities, which is probably why it is expensive. They have access to hacking in the forest straight from the yard and access to a private estate to hack around.
