I was looking to move yards a while ago but decided to say and I love it at my current yard but it is up for sale and the YO has said he has a "secret buyer" who is interested in the place and wants the liveries gone so me and the other girl have been given our months notice.

Yards in the Brampton area would be good - I don't mind travelling further for facilities but my dad will not travel that far, which isn't usually an issue but with snow etc he will be driving me to the yard in the defender (I usually ride my scooter to the yard). So closeish to home would be good.

When I google places the nearest is Cumwhintton but its just too far away for my parents to come on an evening and pick me up in the snow. (It would be a 35odd mile round trip!!!)

Ideally I would like all year turnout but beggars can't be choosers! Some form of half decent arena however is a MUST!

If anyone could pick their brains that would be great :)
 
There is one just off the Longtown-Brampton road - I'm not sure whether or not it currently has vacancies but some people I know keep their horses there - Nook on Lyne. It is run by the same people that offer the Horses to Courses horsebox hire.

I dont think Kingwater is too far from Brampton, but not sure if they still take liveries either!
Theres also, Nord Vue, Greenlands, Blackdyke, Murrey House.. but not sure how far away they are from Brampton

Thanks Cuffey but unfortunately we do not offer livery.

There is a yard at Irthington if this close enough to you. I can get you details if you need them.

Also, if the premises for sale you are referring to is the one I am thinking of (please don't publish where this is), you may actually find that they would be willing to take liveries on but the sale would have to go ahead as vacant upon completion for legal reasons.
