Went on my first hunt today

Ok... so technically it was cubbing.. but we got a few gallops and ended up cantering down one road..!!

Ahh man I had so much fun I'm still on a high - so glad I did it! Any other first timers this season? How did yours go?

I went on my first hunt on a first time horse last weekend and it was amazing!! well, she would only go backwards for the first half hour but once we caught up with the rest of them she was away like a rocket! I couldn't take the grin off my face all week!
Sadly I have to work most Saturdays so will not get the chance to go every week but I can't wait to go again!

Yay, I've done my 1st 3 'hound excercises' as we call them on my 16 year old horse this season. Just booked in for the last 2, then will try and hunt upto the New Year (weather & fitness permitting)
I love it, am on a high for a good 24 hours afterwards!
