Blue just had his back checked and no problems there.

Got a saddle fitter coming out in a few weeks to refit all my saddles ( i have far too many) still waiting on someone to come look at his legs though.

Once he's had that done i may be convinced he just has a strange canter and there is nothing actually wrong with him

Try a course of Bowen treatment, this might even him up.

My old mare had canter problems and it was a sacriliac problem...

He doesn't have major problems he just canters a bit funny. Funny to watch (not sure if you saw him at the weekend?) but there is no clear moment of suspension, its VERY brief... and he seems to find some things quite difficult and after reading on here about all sorts of problems people have with their legs and ligaments i'd like to be on the safe side!
