Nothing exciting just a bit of unaff. SJ so afraid its a bit of a self-indulgent post but am just so pleased to be out and about again!
Neither me nor the horse has jumped so much as a x-pole since our last event in August, but we're now entered for Great Tew BE so thought I'd better get organised and get some jump practise in!! Popped down a grid yesterday for the first time in 7months and then drove off to a local centre for a bit of SJ this morning.
It was indoors but the warm-up etc was still outdoors so we got very very wet, urgh does make you wonder why you bother sometimes ! Mahoosive indoor arena though, very nice.
Jumped in the 95cm class and jumped a double clear to win the class... good pone ! Jumped clear in the 1.05m but had just 4faults in the jump-off (terrible riding mistake not his fault!) but still got in the places and got 4th. So despite being soaked through to the bone we had a very productive day and what I was most happy about was how well he jumped and how rideable he was in the ring, he really did feel super... ! Plus we were home at a reasonable time and I still have time to go to the pub tonight... wooo !
