To everyone who read/commented on my post the other day about my naughty new youngster who wouldn't let me catch him... i caught him last night! woo hoo!
i went up the yard after work and took him a feed down to the feild as i have been letting him eat whilst i hold the bucket in my arms and stroke his face and neck etc, and i had no plans to try and get him but he was being a very good boy so thought i'll give it a go...
so i put his headcollar in the feed bucket so when he put his nose in to eat i could slip it on his nose i did this a few times but didnt goin for the kill so to speak
then i put his feed on the floor and stood at his shoulder when he put his nosey in i pulled the headcollar over his nose as he tried to back off i walked with him and he just stood there and let me do it up!!
I am so pleased! thank you to everyone who offered there advice much appreciated
