Any of you who have read my previous posts will know i'm having alot of trouble with my Sue Carson saddle, and Sue Carson herself. So i emailed the society of master saddlers to ask how often a saddle should be checked. Their reply said they do not give a "set in stone" timescale as to how often a saddle should be checked, but they reccommend that any new saddle is checked 12 wks after it is initially fitted to check that it is suiting the horse, and to tweak the flocking once it has had time to settle. Thereafter they reccommend a saddle should be checked every 6 months.
So I have now got proof that SC lied to me on the phone!!!!!!!!!
She also said that she was a member of SMS, which is a big thing to claim when your name does not come up under any membership lists!!!!!!!!!!!!! So I have emailed SMS again to check wether or not she is a member!
I'm now rather looking forward to SC coming to see my horse and saddle on thurs. I wonder what she will say when she see the SMS email proving she lied.............................
