I've had such a fab night! Firstly I rode Dan and he went nicely, but I got to the bottom of the field to find the gate off (it goes into the next one so still safe!) so I rode Dan up to get some stuff to sort it and then set off riding him back down again and
he didn't nap!!!!!!
No signs of rearing or napping or anything. A little lazy but a kick on later and he was fine! So that was a fab thing in itself and a major achievement!
Then afterwards I rode him back up the field and trotted him up the hill and WE HAD BRAKES!!!! Yay!
- What a difference a Waterford has made! I've spent the past god-knows-how-long trying to persuade him that going slow is fun, and good, and he is rewarded for it, and it's worked! He's listening to me finally which is lovely!
Then to top it all off my Granda (who thinks compliments are rationed
) said Dan was going well!
So I am one very proud and happy vivhewe!!!
