Yay my son cantered today

I'm so pleased, my son plucked up the courage to have his first canter today. It wasn't very far and it was up a small hill but he did it!!! He enjoyed it so much he wants to do it again tomorrow.

Thanks thats a really nice thing to say. He was quite chuffed I think, bless him. It's taken him a long time to start riding again solely through losing his confidence because of the other pony we had. The pony I've got now is fantastic with him and you can actually see a difference in him when I ride and my boy rides, he is so much quieter with my son bless him!!!

Well done Happybus's son! My daughter has been cantering our pony round the school every chance she gets this holiday. She's been having lessons and has finally managed to switch off her electric bum which used to make the pony gallop flat out instead of cantering!

He is now talking about trying a bit of dressage in the school with a view to doing a test if he's good enough.
