He was good as gold. I love that little fella, he is so genuine and sweet.

Took him out, vaulted half on him, walked him round a bit.....wasn't bothered so just vaulted on him properly. Didn't even flinch bless him, he was just stood there like 'Ok Mum...that's a odd place to be sat, but whatever floats your boat!'
So vaulted on and off him a few more times and then walked him round the yard - not a care in the world bless him!

I love him. He is the biggest dude ever.

*sigh*

Ignoring the snow....I'm in my 'happy place' haha.

[Before any bunny hugger patrol dives on me....I do not plan on doing anything more with him or 'pushing him' any more than solely that. One off, bit of fun, etc etc :) ]

well done! I am happy for you :0)

I am also in very high in spirits today. Today was the first time I rode my girl who's been out of work for about 3 years - she was a star! Soon remembed commands. I have been doing loads of lunging and having tack on and off with her etc, and it has all paid off :0) I was amazed how chilled she was so quickly and how soon she remembered breaks and turning.....she also remembered the canter bit and was prancing around under me for a while wanting to go - but nothing nasty, no spooks, no bucks, no rears, nothing. Cracking little girl :0)

Thought I was in soapbox for a moment then. Very surprised by the title. Obviously not recovered from last night. Whoops :O

LOL. Hahahaha. It is a horse. Do not worry!

He's a 2 year old. I know the whole 'do nothing till they're 3/4 at least' debate on here so just wanted to nip that in the bud first off. He will not be doing anything other than being a baby till next year, will not be ridden or anything more than the occasional once in a blue moon sit on like today. I'm not being reckless or silly with him, he's worth too much for me to risk breaking! He loves new things - I spend quite a bit of time with him just chilling and take him absolutely everywhere inhand when I have the chance to! He's a darling.

Thankyou for the lovely comments. I shall try and get some pics of him tomorrow...though they may be snowy!

Thanks! :D I'm sure you'll both do fine. Hop on her and see what happens :p [Joking btw....Sparks is used to tack/weight on back/etc and I was fairly certain he wasn't going to do anything dire!]
