Had PF x-rayed today. Her jaw is healing beautifully. Her bump isn't bone, it's 'connective tissue' and even though she'll only be completely healed in 2-3 more months, the position of the break means I can ride her again in a snaffle, obviously with the proviso that if she shows she's unhappy I should stop. So pleased! If the vet wasn't an idiot (personal reasons) I'd snog him

On the subject of snogging vets, Lovely Javier came to treat Ari's colic and I was so,so worried about him I didn't go even a little bit girly, let alone drool like an idiot as normal

Oh, I had a dishy vet once. I was VERY distracting and I tended to say a lot more stupid things than usual!! Most of the vets who see PF are girls now. I'm a bit sad about that...

She IS fit though; I've been riding her in a hackamore and she was loose schooled before that

How did she damage it again? (memory like a sieve!)

She and I both fell SJing on 31st July. I broke my collarbone and she broke her jaw although initially vets were sure she HADN'T broken it. In fact she broke a large chip out of it, not actually through the jaw (if you get my drift) which was quite fortunate.
