We won!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
After a slight panic, rang Aintree at 12:30pm, they said 'we're just finishing the senior clear round' Oh bugger, no point in taking Emmy then, and there wasnt many entries, so no chance to take Touchy, so off we went with just Sov. Got there and was last to jump in the 75cms (which I must say was 'full up') a lovely if a bit fast clear, then went to look at the jump off course, they did the draw, and guess who was first??? So we set off at Sov speed and found a rhythm and just stuck with it, put in a couple of fab turns and went clear in a fast time, the other 4 clears jumped off and only one other was double clear, but quite a bit slower! So we won!!!!!!! A box of chocolate, a free blueprint pic and £10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In the second class, we came fourth, we had the 1st fence down (my fault) but he jumped much better and was again much faster than the others (without chasing the clock ) so we ended up 4th

Then the topscore, which I think we were both tired and had 2 down (one was the joker! a set of planks at 1m) not the sort of class you can 'hunt' round

So all in all a good day. Now off for a shower and an early night.

Sounds like a good day!
I find SJ so much more fun when going against the clock.
It did sound a tad ambitious to take all three horses though, I think you were much more sensible just to have a winning day with one!!!!
