Do you use it?
Any luck with it?

I'm thinking off putting 5 horses on it so would love some feed back.
A tb who is doing well with weight but feel yea sacc may just help him use his fibre the best he can so hence more weight.
A highland who gets the runs a bit and farts for England! Honestly never heard anything like it.
A old boy just to help in his old age
a laminitic as iv heard it works well with the mag oxide he currently gets and my mare just because I might as well if my others are on it :)

is it worth the money?

Apart from my tb all the others are on 1 feed a day off fast fibre, linseed, mag ox and general vit/min supplement and a handful off unmolassed hi fi.

OR is there anything better than yea sacc?

It's brilliant stuff!

It's added in a lot of feeds per protocol these days.. It's a strain of brewers yeast saccharomyces cerivisae (or something like that). Been used for years.

I use brewers yeast but quality varies. Up to you but plenty of info if you google it.

Ok thanks, I just worry that my highlands stomach isn't 100% and that he could colic one night. Honestly his farting is not normal it's mad.

I can't comment on the colic, but there's no way your horse farts more than mine did :p, the Fennel sorted it out completely.

I went to see the Global Herbs people at Your Horse Live with the aim of getting some charcoal for his wind, but they recommended the fennel and it worked a treat :D

Agree. Activated charcoal does work but it's sooooooo blimmin' expensive... fennel, you can grow in your garden and it loves wet ground too :)
