Yea, we did it! first time out hunting!

Well, I went out with the Coakham Blood Hounds this evening, it was great I have finally be hunting - yeah!!
It was the first time for me & my new horse, I brought him from Ireland last year and I was actually beginning to wonder if he would ever be good at anything well now I know, he was born for hunting!!
He was amazing, he pulled a bit at the end, but he was just excited but he was up for everything (non jumping day - so watch this space!) he stood still (mostly) but he bounded along in the most lovely canter/gallop, just the best feeling!
We got back just as it was going dark, and arrived home in the pitch black, but both horses loved it - can't wait for the next one - I'm a happy bunny :grin:

Oh you got your new puppy - lovely!

It was faster than I thought it was going to be, but lots of breaks, come with me next time - it was fab! the next autumn hunting date will be put up on the web site.
