With winter coming up i'm starting to look at feeds to give my yearling who at the minute is on good grazing and a mineral block and looks good.
I got him last winter and feel that he needs feed especially in winter to keep him looking well.

My question is what would you suggest i could give him that contains all the essential minerals and vitamins for growing babys which is is fairly cheap as i'm on a budget

Thanks in advance

What type of horse is he?

I feed my youngsters D&H Suregrow (approx £14 per bag) which provides all the vits & mins they need (more info on their website) together with Alfa A and Sugar Beet. For the more delicate souls I add youngstock nuts to the above.

feed mine winergy growth (£10.45 a bag) But he only has 0.5kg a day as it does him really well so he has a mineral block in the field or gets NAF general purpose supplement if stabled (£8 a tub lasts me 6 weeks).
