My youngster's mane is what I can only describe as "fluff" :D It is thick, double-sided and there is no weight to it so it blows around in the slightest breeze, despite the density. I don't recall ever seeing a grown horse with a mane like it so can someone reassure me that they've had a youngster with a mane like this that has settled down as they've grown larger (he'll be a year old next month) or are we likely to be stuck with this monster "do"???

(His tail is much more "sensible" ;) )

ARGHHH my yearing has a mane like that too, except if anything his is thicker and the white part is all ringlets. You'd never believe he was 50% TB and his dam has such a fine coat and mane.
