Yearling living in a garden shed on an estate :( Awful

I have to wonder who on earth would sell them the pony. Poor poor thing :( I had a cry about it before. Surely everyone knows that horses eat hay?

Idiots but I know all too well it's not that uncommon :(
And not just horses either, the micro pig craze drives us daft the amount of people happily thinking it's a great idea to have a pig in a flat.
Glad he got a new home though!

As for the ban, they're all too easy to get around :(

there is no way that pony was left in the garden in the day...it would have been a mud bath in there with all the rain weve had & the grass is still nice & green!

Stupid people, at least he was rescued before any really severe health problems could set in. Surely little girls want a pony so they can ride it anyway?! Doubt that would have gone very well if attempted!

I hope (but doubt) that their parenting skills are also assessed. They obviously have no compassion, care or thought for a living creature. She looks like she doesn't have 2 brain cells to rub together also :o

Poor little guy - what horrible people :(

The pony my daughter learned to ride on was also kept in a garden shed :( He was a scrawny 12.2hh fell x colt & was fed on whatever the kids didn't eat. My friend bought him off the owner at 3yrs for £80 & got him cut, fed right & broke in. He was always a greedy pig & would eat anything in a bag (once ate cement & dry sugar beet after he broke into the barn!!!) & he always though every meal was his last. How he never got colic I don't know. He flat out refused to walk past the chip shop until he had had some chips & mushy peas!!! Daughter rode him for 2yrs until she wanted to learn to jump & he was too scopey for her - he eventually went to RDA i heard, I would love to know where he is now as he was a proper dude :D

The fact that she's posed for a picture and allowed it to be published shows how shameless she is. It'd be fantastic if there was a way of finding out her address, my muck heaps getting a little big..

I never understand why people like this are EVER allowed to keep animals in future, banning them for 10 years??? Why so after 10 years, suddenly they'll be nice to animals and not be so ignorant about their basic care?! Unfortunately IMO until the penalties are far tougher, people will continue to do stuff like this.

and until the cost of a pony is more than a packet of fags....you will see this again and again and again.....
Time for bottom end breeders to take note!
